A lot of talk and criticism has taken place about Misbah-Ul-Haq's ability, Technic and whether he should be allowed to captain the international side in T20s. These things have been going around for a long time and have cropped up after the recent 2-1 defeat against England.
I don't have a problem with Misbah captaining the T20 side. I have a problem with Misbah playing in the T20 side. Misbah is a good Test and One-Day batsmen. The thing is he is naturally defensive and is not suited for the shortest format of the game. I think he should retire from T20 cricket himself and focus on Tests and ODIs.
Well who knows maybe the PCB will remove him from the T20 squad. But whatever happens, I hope it happens fast because we need to decide a team for this year T20 World Cup (which is starting from September 18) .
